About CHCA

Community Health Centers of America (CHCA) is a dedicated provider of affordable and compassionate healthcare in historically underserved regions. Founded in 2019 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, CHCA began in Mariposa County, near Yosemite National Park, and has since expanded to Livingston and Gustine in California’s Central Valley. Recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center (Look-Alike) by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in January 2021, our mission is to offer dependable healthcare services to low-income families, accepting all forms of insurance and providing sliding-scale discounts for the uninsured. Our commitment is to build healthy communities today and every day, ensuring no one is denied care due to financial constraints.

Mr. Naresh Channaveerappa

CEO
Mr. Naresh Channaveerappa is the current Chief Executive Officer of Community Health Centers of America. He holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Concord Law School. Mr. Channaveerappa is a member of the State Bar of California in good standing and is licensed to practice law in the State of California. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance. Mr. Channaveerappa has been practicing Civil Engineering, specializing in Environmental Engineering, since 2003. His work has included the remediation of some of the heavily polluted defense sites throughout the United States. Additionally, Mr. Channaveerappa has continued to practice law since obtaining his California Bar License in 2010. He has extensive knowledge in engineering, construction, business administration, litigation, financing, and accounting. In 2018, he co-founded Community Health Centers of America originally with its other founding members at his law practice in Modesto, CA. As CEO, he serves as a pillar of the organization and an advocate for the underserved populations in California. He is a fervent supporter of the organization’s mission to “Provide healthcare to anyone regardless of their ability to pay.”

Dr. Gurdeep Singh

COO & Assistant CMO
Dr. Gurdeep Singh is a licensed FNP in the state of California, having received his Master’s degree from Samuel Merit University in Oakland, CA. Prior to his migration to the United States, Dr. Singh graduated with a Medical Degree from MGM Medical College in Bihar, India. Since 2008, Dr. Singh served as a Clinical Director and Chief Operating Officer later of an FQHC where he demonstrated his love and passion to provide medical care and address the lack of healthcare access in California to underserved populations and rural communities. Bringing his decade of experience and commitment, Dr. Singh has faithfully been continuing his mission to provide healthcare resources and services to the underserved in California as a co-founder and as the Chief Operating Officer of Community Health Centers of America since 2018. He is revered by both staff and other medical providers, alike, as a proactive leader. Dr. Singh also remains dedicated to the one-on-one experience of providing patient care by serving as a medical provider in CHCA-sponsored outreach events and at several CHCA clinics.
